John Arney and Tom Corrin are delighted to announce that Julian Ameler
has been elevated to the position of Partner and joined them as a
shareholder in The Smithfield Group Limited.  Julian was an integral
member of the team that founded Smithfield and has worked alongside
John and Tom for over a decade as the team has successfully made and
realised multiple investments in North America and Europe.  A seasoned
private equity investor complemented by deep investment banking
experience from his time at UBS in Germany and the UK, Julian has
worked across multiple sectors and geographies and invested in start-ups,
growth capital and larger buy-outs.  Following a decade located with John
and Tom in London, Julian is now located in Berlin, overseeing Smithfield’s
Continental European activities.
